The Football governing Body of Uganda – FUFA announced the opening of the Summer Transfer window on 1st July 2025, which saw the Kasasiro Boys declare their first signing in Ivan ‘The Hunter’ Ahimbisibwe, URA FC’s frontman last season.
Since then, Clubs have been in advanced talks, Journalists are busy speculating who is signing whom, and rumors are floating the media every time.

Coach Olivia Mbekeka and Lugazi FC Part ways. Mbekeka made history on October 22, 2024, as the first-ever female Head Coach to step on the touchline in Uganda’s football history.
As a result, Lugazi have announced Steven Bogere and Francis Mugerwa to co-steer the Leaders. Lugazi have also acquired the services of Dauson Mafumu from Express FC on a two-year contract.
